My random thoughts on juggling homeschooling, working, parenting, playing music, trying to keep the house from being a complete health hazard, and staying healthy and sane.
I was wondering if you could share how homeschooling in Portland is working out for your family?
We are a family of 3. Our son, Vance, is 12 years old. My husband is his teacher. We are considering a move to Portland.
Is Portland a great environment for homeschool families? Are there lots of enrichment and social opportunities for homeschoolers?
Do you know families with older homeschool kids (teens)?
Any information you can share is greatly appreciated.

I will share what I can on homeschooling in Portland. Sorry it is taking a while to get back to you--I will definitely post something or reply here soon!
When A mentioned that she no longer had 2 but only 1 rat (on the way to skating that week) we all said we were sorry to hear about that. She said "it's OK if I don't talk about it" and then L and E peppered her with more questions about the hows and whys of the loss! Apparently they didn't take her hint but she was such a trooper and seemed to enjoy talking more about her wonderful pet. What a great photo of the little fella!
